Pilates

All Levels - Medium to high intensity class

Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century and is a comprehensive system of movement and strengthening. Our Pilates classes take place on a mat and are similar to yoga classes but with emphasis on your body’s core, lower back, abdomen, obliques, thighs, buttocks, and so on. Our Pilates classes help you to learn more about your own body by becoming stronger and more flexible, benefits that should give you greater protection against injuries.

Expect a moderate raising of the heart rate.
