Yoga Nidra

All Levels - Low intensity class

Yoga Nidra is often understood as yogic “sleep”. It’s a style that uses body scanning, awareness of breath and visualisation to slowly bring the practitioner into a state of consciousness between being awake and being asleep. It is also an opportunity to utilise your resolve through sankalpa – intentional thinking. The majority of the class will happen in a prone position on your mat.

Expect your heart rate to remain at its resting rate – or perhaps lower.

Yoga Nidra classes are suitable for all levels.
