Bio
Lenneke Rasschaert is a dedicated teacher of Pilates and Yoga, with a deep passion for somatic practices. Her journey into movement and body awareness began during her dance training at the Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg, where she was first introduced to Pilates. This early exposure ignited a lasting interest, and in 2001, she pursued further studies at Le Centre de Pilates de Montréal, enhancing her practice with both mat training and private sessions on the reformer and cadillac.
Lenneke’s exploration of bodywork expanded as she later re-discovered yoga at Yyoga! Her connection to yoga deepened in a transformative way, leading her to complete the Conscious Living Teacher Training at Yyoga in 2017 and a childrens and teens yoga teacher training with El Sole in 2020. This marked a pivotal moment in her path toward integrating mind, body, and spirit both on and of the mat.
As a lifelong learner, Lenneke continually seeks to expand her understanding of somatic practices. She attends workshops and training sessions with a focus on somatic exploration, partnering and contact improvisation, restorative yoga and yoga for hormonal balance. With a holistic approach to movement, she brings a deep sensitivity to her teaching, guiding her students to cultivate self-awareness and a balanced connection to their bodies.
Her classes emphasize mindful movement, alignment, and the joy of exploring the body’s innate wisdom, allowing students to find both strength and ease within their practice. Lenneke’s commitment to lifelong learning and somatic research ensures that she remains a compassionate and evolving teacher for her students.
