A strong and balanced yoga practice starts with building a solid foundation. These vinyasa flow classes are taught at a slower pace, with a greater emphasis on alignment and the connection between movement and breath. By mastering the key postures and the basics of vinyasa flow you will be able to evolve in your practice safely and confidently, transitioning easily to our other vinyasa and hot flow classes.

The intermediate vinyasa flow classes are suited for those who might be ready for more challenges.  The flow and sequencing may be a little more challenging. The postures will be similar to those in our other hot flow and vinyasa flow classes with more asana variations to learn something new. In these classes we emphasize safe alignment as well as building endurance, strength and improving balance.

First time to Yyoga

We all had a first time

Who can do hot yoga and hot flow?

Hot yoga and hot flow are suitable for most people. Please keep in mind both practices are vigorous and demanding in a room heated to 36˚C at about 30% humidity.

Children under 16 years old, women who breastfeed and those with serious heart and cardio-vascular condition are not encouraged to participate in our hot yoga and Hot flow classes. Pregnant ladies are not allowed in the Hot classes and should wait the end of the first trimester before practicing regular classes.

We recommend light clothing, whatever you feel comfortable with (shorts, leggings and tank top).

When you come for a hot yoga or hot flow class keep in mind that the room is heated and you will sweat. Wear clothing you feel comfortable getting sweaty in.

  • Be well hydrated and drink plenty of water before class.
  • Wash your feet and hands before entering the yoga room for a better class experience.
  • Talk to your teacher before class about any injuries or special conditions you have that might affect your yoga practice. This way teachers will know what modifications to give you to make your practice more accessible.

Most of our classes are suitable for newcomers, especially the following styles: Yoga Foundations, Hatha Yoga, Restorative/Yin, Hot Yoga, Yin/Yang, Meditation and Pilates.

Tips & tricks

Drop your ideas and beliefs that you need to be flexible to do yoga. Yoga is not about being flexible or being able to touch your toes, or the capability to place your body in a knot. It’s about unlocking your true potentials and reclaiming your powers as a human being. Everyone can practice and enjoy the numerous benefits of yoga.

Focus on yourself
Each of us is unique and special. Don’t compare yourself to others, we all come from diverse backgrounds, have different life stories and genetic make-up that make our bodies unique. Regardless of your history, physical state and age, there is always a yoga style that suits you.

Private sessions
Need a specialized yoga program? Private sessions can always be organized and tailored to your needs. Get in touch with our team for such classes.

Take the time
Please keep in mind that it may take you at least one month to be more familiar with the key yoga postures, movements, correct breathing methods and other yogic practices. Learning the foundations of yoga takes time, therefore patience and commitment are essential. The true benefits of yoga are only experienced with consistent practice, therefore we encourage our students to practice 2 to 3 times per week.

Got a question about your practice after your first class? Our teachers and staff members are always available for help and guidance.
