Hatha Yoga

All Levels - Low to medium intensity class

Hatha yoga focuses on building a strong foundation and refining your yoga practice. Emphasis is placed on posture explanations and alignment, safe practice and coordinated breathing. Classes are conducted at a more relaxed pace. We include poses from numerous traditions and occasionally utilise yoga props (blocks, blankets, straps, etc).

Expect to moderately raise the heart rate in this grounding class.

FAQ

Yes. Hatha is ideal to learn foundations, alignment, and breathing at a steady pace.

Hatha is slower with poses held longer; Vinyasa is typically more flow-based and continuous.

You may, but it’s not designed to be as intense as hot classes. Expect a calm, focused experience.

Bring a mat and a towel, or rent them at the studio. Water is always a good idea.
